All foreign nationals (with the exception of Indian passport holders) will require a visa to enter Nepal.
A visa can also be arranged on arrival into Nepal at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan Airport and at some land borders. During peak tourist season be prepared to queue at the airport.

It is essential that your passport is valid for a minimum of six months from your arrival into Nepal and you will need a whole page free for the visa.,
A multi-entry visa valid for 15 days costs US$30 per person and US$40 per person for 30 days. Exact money required!
If applying on arrival, the fee is payable in US Dollars.
If applying with the embassy before departure you can pay by Visa Debit/Credit, Master Card Debit/Credit, All Maestro cards at the Embassy. If applying by post, a Virtual Payment link will be sent to the applicant’s email once the application is received at the Embassy.
